As part of Domain’s MyCommunity program, we host a dedicated Community Day each year for all regional employees in both Louisiana and New York to work closely with a local nonprofit on solving that organization’s greatest needs. Last week, Louisiana corporate and property staff members partnered with 2019 MyCommunity partner SOUL NOLA, which works to drive a resilient and environmentally equitable New Orleans by reforesting the urban landscape.

Over 60 Domain team members planted 122 trees throughout 50 cluster sites in New Orleans’ Mid-City neighborhood. These trees help provide shade that lowers neighborhood energy bills, minimizes flooding, and beautifies the surrounding areas. Community Days show that Domain is committed to making the communities in which we build a better place to work and live.
