How to Help Louisiana Flood Victims

Baton Rouge and surrounding communities in Southeastern Louisiana are experiencing an unprecedented flood after severe rainfall throughout the area. More than 20,000 people have been rescued and more than 10,000 have been forced to leave their homes and take refuge in temporary shelters.

This tragedy has not flooded Domain’s buildings at The Addison or The High Grove, but it has severely impacted our Baton Rouge neighbors, MyCommunity Partners, and employees. It is hard to see our state hurting – here is how you can help.

Over the coming days, we will have more information about volunteer opportunities with our MyCommunity Partners Companion Animal Alliance, Trafficking Hope Louisiana, and Baton Rouge Food Bank. In the meantime, please click the links to donate money, goods or time.

You can find a list of organizations collecting supplies here. The American Red Cross is accepting $10 donations by texting LAFLOODS to 90999.

The Addison and The High Grove currently have vacancies for those displaced.

Our thoughts are with the people of Southeastern Louisiana as we work to support the recovery process.
