SALT LAKE CITY – The Domain Companies is proud to announce new local partnerships with three nonprofit organizations through its MyCommunity program at Mya: Odyssey House Utah, Ronald McDonald Charities of the Intermountain Area, and Utah Food Bank. Domain, in partnership with Giv Development, will open Mya in early 2021 in the heart of Salt Lake City. Centrally located on the TRAX line, this mixed-income apartment community will feature thoughtfully-designed, one-bedroom residences complemented by neighborhood retail.
MyCommunity partners each Domain property with three local nonprofit organizations, facilitating donations and creating volunteer opportunities for residents throughout the year. Upon lease signing or renewal, residents assign a donation from Domain to one of these partners, creating steady and significant financial support. Each property strengthens this relationship through ongoing volunteerism, specialized holiday programs, collection drives, and more.
At the heart of Domain’s investment approach is a mission to create true community value through four philanthropic pillars: social justice, food equity, environmental justice, and support of vulnerable populations. This sustained engagement effort serves to enhance the lives of residents, support local businesses, and lay the foundation for future progress and stronger communities.
