Domain is preparing to open our newest luxury apartment community in Baton Rouge, The Addison, and we’re seeking a full-time Leasing Specialist who shares our passion for creating exceptional living environments for our residents!The Leasing Specialist will:

• Take all incoming calls regarding prospective tenant inquiries concerning property.
  • Lease preparation and signing with all riders
  • Collect application fees, first month’s rent and security deposit
  • Move in package for new resident
  • Resident orientation
  • Unit turn process
  • Creation of tenant files
  • Scan and save new tenant documentation on Domain network
  • Move tenant into Yardi, including all household, income, lease, rent data
• Meet with all prospective applicants for vacant apartments.
• Coordinate credit and criminal background checks on all prospective applicants to ensure they meet our required standards to lease an apartment.
• Coordinate with PM to manage new tenant move in process:
• Track lease renewals/expirations in Yardi on an ongoing basis. Manage apartment turnover process by coordinating with PM and Tech to ensure unit turns are done timely prior to new tenant move-ins.

• Prior apartment leasing experience
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Creative thinker capable of generating and implementing innovative marketing strategies
• Ability to multi-task and meet aggressive leasing goals
• Working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment while meeting personal leasing and retention goals
• A self-starter with outstanding time management skills
• Familiar with the Baton Rouge market
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work weekends as needed
