Restoring Habitat in Utah
Utah
Volunteers helped build beaver dam analogs (BDAs) and other nature-based structures designed to improve water quality and strengthen riparian habitat. This work supported conservation efforts aligned with Sageland Collaborative, which provides sound science and data-driven strategies to help Utah’s natural resource managers protect land and wildlife. As climate change and human impacts continue to threaten sensitive ecosystems, these efforts play a critical role in promoting long-term environmental resilience.
