Domain Employees Participate in ‘MyCommunity’ Days in New York and Louisiana

Domain believes in facilitating regular volunteer opportunities for our employees, which has resulted in the annual MyCommunity Day tradition. MyCommunity Days see all Domain employees gather together to contribute to major volunteer projects in both New York and Louisiana, committing to a full day of service to make a positive impact in our community.

In November 2015, the New York team worked with Partnerships for Parks – a joint program of City Parks Foundation and NYC Parks – to spend a day beautifying Greenpoint’s McGolrick Park. The team worked to spread over 2,000 square feet of wood-chips, paint 360 linear feet of fence, instal 255 bulbs and plants, and collect 157 bags of leaves. The local paper, the Greenpoint Gazette, featured the New York staff’s work and impact.

In New Orleans, Domain partnered with the Louisiana Children’s Museum. Located only blocks away from the New Orleans corporate office, the Children’s Museum offered our Louisiana staff a chance to work on a number of improvement projects, including replacing the flooring of the Children’s Café, sanding and painting benches, and refreshing exhibits throughout the space.
