The Shop – CAC

The Shop at the Contemporary Arts Center, New Orleans (CAC), features 40,000sf of artful coworking space for the creative professional. The Shop is the first of its kind in New Orleans. An exceptionally-designed, art-filled workspace offering an unparalleled benefits and services platform, all located in one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods.

Designed by AIA-award-winning firm Eskew+Dumez+Ripple, The Shop preserves classic Warehouse District architecture while incorporating modern elements. Occupying the third and fourth floors of the CAC, the light-filled space features high ceilings with exposed beams, large windows, an expansive art collection, and a flowing, open floor plan.

All memberships include full access to the Commons amenity space, community resources and events, conference room usage, and business-class printing. High-speed internet is accessible from all workspaces. Utilities and janitorial/maintenance services are included, as is mail/package delivery from a staffed reception desk. Seven conference rooms are fully-equipped with the latest AV technology.

The heart of The Shop is the extensive Commons amenity area that spans two floors of art-filled space connected by an open architectural staircase.
