Community Day 2019 showcased Domain’s commitment to making New Orleans a better place to live and work. In March, Domain partnered with SOUL NOLA to plant 122 water-loving trees throughout the city. Over 60 team members broke into eight groups that placed trees across 50 cluster sites. The cypress, oak, magnolia, and holly trees planted will grow to absorb up to 1,000 gallons of rain water each day, and the team’s hard work will be reflected for years to come in shade, lowered energy bills, minimized flooding, and beautified neighborhoods.
