Matt Schwartz, Domain Principal, Wins T.G. Solomon Award for Entrepreneurship and Civic Engagement

Matt TG Solomon Award

The T.G. Solomon Award for Entrepreneurship and Civic Engagement is described as “an award for what you will do in your lifetime to make New Orleans a better place.” We’re proud to say that Matt Schwartz, Domain’s principal and co-founder, has been honored with 2017’s recognition as an entrepreneur who has emerged as an impactful civic leader.

Matt’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life and sense of community in New Orleans originated in the months following Hurricane Katrina, when he and his partner Chris Papamichael saw the opportunity to create housing in Mid-City and along Tulane Avenue.

Now over 10 years later, he is an active member of numerous advisory boards and non-profit organizations, including his work as chairman of the board for Liberty’s Kitchen. His allegiance to the city and dedication to creating community value continue to shape everything Domain does.

Congratulations to Matt on being an inspiring steward for the highest honor of entrepreneurship in the city!
